Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and user manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit rocket-setup.com and applies to this website and its interactive features. Data handled within the app, Apple Account information, and App Store transactions are covered by the privacy policies of the respective services.

Scope and Information Boundaries

This is a static-content website. It has no user registration, sign-in, email collection, or online payment forms. You can read the manual without submitting your name, phone number, account password, or payment details. The pages provide setup instructions and configuration examples; the site does not accept configuration files, subscription URLs, server credentials, or connection logs.

This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscription services. Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. A one-time client purchase is not a service plan. Purchasing the app and using a network service are separate matters; do not submit account information for either to this site.

Website Analytics

Website analytics help us understand page views, use of site navigation, and clicks on App Store links so we can improve the content structure and troubleshoot page issues. Analytics may include pages visited, visit times, referral categories, browser and device types, and page events triggered by users.

To deliver this website, the server may also log technical information such as request URLs, response status codes, access times, and network addresses for maintenance and troubleshooting. Analytics do not require identity details and are not used to read Shadowrocket configurations on your device, proxy request contents, or Apple purchase records.

A click recorded on an App Store link only means that the store link was opened; it does not indicate that a purchase was completed. Do not add passwords, subscription credentials, or other sensitive information to page URLs or link parameters, as they may be included in access logs.

Cookies and Local Storage

When enabled, website analytics may use cookies or browser storage to distinguish visits and avoid duplicate counts. Actual use depends on the analytics configuration and browser restrictions. These identifiers are used to analyze website visits; they are not Apple Account sign-in credentials.

Page language changes use links, and section positions are restored through page URL anchors. Neither requires saving your server information. This site does not need to store subscription URLs, account passwords, or payment details in your browser.

You can view, restrict, or clear this site's cookies and website data in your browser settings. Restricting storage may make analytics less complete. After you clear website data, related visit identifiers may be generated again. Refer to your browser's settings documentation for specific controls.

App Store Links and Purchase Information

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and its sole source is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Apple's privacy policy and terms of service apply when you open it; purchases, payments, and restoration of previous purchases are handled through Apple's processes.

This site does not process payments, receive store transaction credentials, or have access to your Apple Account, orders, or payment methods. Product pricing, compatible devices, system requirements, and purchase availability are as listed on the App Store page. Website analytics and Apple's handling of App Store data are separate.

Policy Updates and Access

If website features, analytics methods, or the scope of data handling change, this policy will be revised on this page and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. If a change involves new data uses or collection, relevant details will be provided when the feature is enabled. You can return to this page at any time from the footer.

For setup steps and usage questions, see Getting Started. For availability, purchases, and restoring purchases, see the FAQs in App Store & Purchase. You do not need to provide personal information to read these guides. Do not include sensitive credentials in page links or example content.
